Please note: All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. We ask for a 1 adult to 2 children ratio. If you wish to go for a wander on the farm please check in with us first for both our animals and your safety.

Glow worm/night walk: On the farm near the boundary stream is a small brook that meanders through the bush. Just before it joins the stream it passes through  some small caves between a group of large boulders. This area is where the glow worms live, both in the caves and surrounding bush. Unfortunately without specialist camera equipment photos aren't possible but it will be a wonderful memory to take home with you. If you wish we can go for a wee bush walk afterwards but be aware there are no cut tracks here so care is needed. The tour takes about 30 to 45 minutes. The glow worm part is on pretty flat terrain and quite an easy five minute walk from the drive. Good footwear is recommended (although I often do it in jandles). The best time for this is at least half an hour after sunset. We will supply torches for everyone. Cost is $20 first person then $10 per person after that, children under 5 free. Please check with Neil about doing this walk, we had a drought recently and it has knocked back the number of glow worms, a lot. Neil will be up to date on whether it is worth it or not

Farm/bush walk. Take an informative walk around the farm and/or bush with Neil. He will show you how a farm works, you can meet the cows then if you wish, go for a walk in our beautiful native bush. If you don't have your own sturdy footwear we can try and supply gum boots but can't guarantee we will have your size so it pays to come prepared, having said that Neil often does farm/bush walks in his 'summer gumboots' A.K.A. jandles. Some level of fitness is required but we can adjust the experience to suit most people's comfort level. Cost is $20 first person then $15 per person after that, children under 5 free. The time it takes depends on you and how long you want to take but 1 to 2 hours is usual.

Alpaca/goat feeding: Get up close and personal with our farm friends. Each alpaca has its own personality as do the goats. On our farm tours you will get to meet our alpacas out in their paddocks and as you feed them treats and hay we will teach you a little about  alpacas and alpaca farming. It's a wonderful photo opportunity with the alpacas on the hillside with the amazing views in the back ground. Then, if you wish you can walk an alpaca on a lead. Most of our alpacas are lead trained so they can go in the ring for shows though the older ones are out of practice.

The goats are super friendly and love a bit of a pat and a scratch between their horns. While they can be lead on a lead it's pretty hard to get a goat to go anywhere it doesn't want to so generally we give in to their stubbornness where walks are concerned but they do love their treats. Their names are Steven (Segal),  Sylvester (Stallone) and Mandy (not named by us).  Cost is adults $30 and children $15. It takes about an hour but there's no rush. Bookings are required so we can put time aside and get ready for your visit.
